Unfortunately, Google has not revealed which device will get Google Assistant but if you are lucky, you will get an update on your Google Play Service soon by the Google.

Google Assistant is far more advanced than its predecessor “Google Now” which used to be Google’s exclusive search assistant. With Google Assistant, users can do much more than just asking weather report or Who’s the President of USA? People can now set a reminder on your calendar app or book your restaurant reservation on the go.

According to Google, they will roll out their first release on USA region which will later get rolled out to UK, Canada and Australia. It is not yet confirmed when Indian users will get their first pick on Google Assistant for now.

Google Assistant will only work on the devices with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and above, this is a pretty harsh move from Google as many users are still running on Kitkat and Lollipop version. Still, Google Assistant is one the anticipated update for all the tech lovers.
